FAQ:
PhotoShoot ? You pick the place, and the outfits. Together we explore the site, and pick
several places to stop and shoot, where the natural surroundings add to the feel of the photographs. Using natural light, we take many pictures.
On Location? Yes. Instead of you coming to the studio, you pick the place
and background for your pictures, and we come to you. We Agree on a time and a place. It can be your yard, the beach, or any place that feels right to you. We can go anywhere in LA County, or anywhere within an an hours drive
from Rancho Palos Verdes.
If there are special location costs, like entrance fees to Disneyland, or airfare to Paris, you pay them.
Candid?
Candid is the unposed informal style of photography that we use. Instead of dressing you up, and posing you stiffly while we shoot, we help you be natural. Instead of artificial lighting, we use the natural light to create natural looking photographs.
Extra people? The price includes you, your family, or a small group, at no extra charges.
How many pictures? Usually from 100 to 200 different shots.
What to wear? Whatever is natural and comfortable for you will work. We suggest clothes that can get dirty, so no one worries about how they look.
Expensive? About $300 for the session, and some prints.
How long before we see the results? Usually a day or two. Sometimes it may take longer. We are
looking at new proofing methods, like Web Proofs, VCD Proof Discs, or contact sheets.
Prints? How many prints do we get? As many as you want. Some are included in the
PhotoShoot price, but there are many options ranging from different fabrics and papers, and sizes from mini wallet up to poster prints as large as 20x30. Many special effect are available.
Can we Get the digital photographs for ourselves? Yes. There are several options.
One is to get all the images on a CDRom suitable for emailing to relatives. They are sized at 800 x 600 pixels, and compressed in size and quality to reduce download time.
